—ABOUT KICKCANCER
KickCancer is a young Belgian foundation with a wonderful purpose: to cure cancer for all children.
To find new treatments, to improve the existing ones and to kick children's cancer once and for all, to send it far, far away forever, and never come back!
In order to achieve this mission, KickCancer funds research for more effective and less toxic treatments in the hope of curing more children and avoid long-term sequelae caused by current treatments.
KickCancer also represents the interests of children to the government, as better regulations would stimulate research and development of new treatments and access to innovation for more children with cancer. Thanks to a patient committee that structurally allows young patients and their parents to make their voices heard, KickCancer directly influences the quality and direction of research projects as well as the care pathway of young patients and their families.
