In The Moodboard Of Sophie, MYA BAY's Creator

Sophie lived in India before settling permanently in Belgium. She still draws her most beautiful inspirations from it to design the MYA BAY's collections. Influences that match those she finds in nature, art or architecture.

BOLLYWOOD LIFE

There are journeys that leave a mark for life. India is definitely one of them. Bubbling cities. A millenary culture. Monuments full of colour and history. A world of its own that has inspired our designer Sophie since the creation of MYA BAY in 2012.

Single ticket to India: shop our CHENNAI line..

Among his collections we find the Mumbai line, inspired by the carved Arabesques of the temples of this sprawling city. There is also the CHENNAI collection, with many engraved crosses, carved and set with fine stones, in homage to this Indian city where all religions live side by side, from Hinduism to Islam, including Buddhism, Judaism and Christianism (Better to put all the chances on your side).

At MYA BAY, India is everywhere. Need for a proof? Our Arabesque bangle is inspired by KOLAM, traditional welcome designs made with rice powder.

Do you need more? Our DIWALI earrings are a dive into the heart of this luminous festival, when our LOTUS line celebrates this divine Indian flower.

Bending, extension, here is our ARABESQUE bangle..

Not to mention our pieces with designs inspired by the traditional jewellery. Among others, our best-selling rings revisited with the Indian style. On our JAIPUR, earrings, thin chains remind us of the jewellery that Indian women wear from ear to nose or in their hair.

On the other hand, our orange pearl bangle recalls the colourful bindi that married women or children wear on their foreheads. For you, it will be... on your wrist. A single ticket to India, without the carbon footprint.
